POSITION SUMMARY: 

Positively and measurably impact the sales/margins of Corporate Brand products through the support of Account Manager, retail staff and retail stores. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
 

  • Provide customer service and have a working knowledge of Kroger’s Customer 1st Strategy 
  • Administrative support for supervisor (Account Manager) 
  • Communicate with Kroger and P.L. Marketing employees as directed 
  • Create/update Word documents and Excel spreadsheets 
  • Keying of warehouse distributions 
  • Prepare and distribute period reports 
  • Run distribution void reports for Kroger Brand Merchandising Representatives 
  • Prepare period sales plan as directed by supervisor (Account Manager) 
  • Recap weekly store call reports from Kroger Brand Merchandising Representatives 
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation


MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 
 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Communicate (read, write and speak) fluent English 
  • Read and understand plan-o-grams 
  • Computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new programs 
  • Knowledge of internet, email and web based applications 
  • Adapt to advancing technology and computer solutions 
  • Organizational skills 
  • Exceptional communication skills 


MINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES: 
Must be able to: 
 

  • remain standing/sitting for several hours at a time 
  • have unlimited manual dexterity 
  • lift 10-15 lbs. occasionally 


DESIRED PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE:
 

  • Retail store experience 
  • Administrative support position in office environment

  • Decision Making – identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences 
  • Initiating Action – taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive; generating innovative solutions in work situations 
  • Negotiation – effectively exploring alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance from all involved parties
